Dear Homeowner,<\/span><\/p>\n

This letter serves as an update to you regarding the siding project planned for the Forest Oaks Homeowners Association.\u00a0 Since the Board received approval by vote of homeowners last August to apply for a loan to cover the project, the Board has completed the application process and was granted a loan for $800,000.00.\u00a0 During the past four months Board members have met multiple times with the selected contractor (Columbus Construction) and with a professional designer to plan the project and to make numerous decisions regarding the budget, \u00a0type of siding, colors and trim, lighting and other details that will add value and cohesion to our project.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be six (6) different colors of siding used amongst the twenty buildings.\u00a0 The designer has recommended placement of the colors to coordinate with building brick and flow through the association. The trim on all buildings will be white.\u00a0 This includes trim board, all windows, storm doors, and garage doors.\u00a0 Homeowners can view the colors chosen here<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Association will be painting all existing windows, storm doors and garage doors white as part of the overall project.\u00a0 Any windows, storm doors or garage doors replaced by homeowners must be white.\u00a0 Homeowners must submit a completed Architectural Approval form<\/a><\/span> prior to any exterior alterations.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Board is also planning to include replacement of exterior lights as part of the project.\u00a0 If a homeowner wishes to maintain the exterior lighting they currently have, they should submit an Architectural Approval form<\/span><\/a> by June 1st<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The materials have been ordered and the project is anticipated to begin in June.\u00a0 It will take 2-3 weeks to complete a building and buildings will be worked on in groups of 2-3.\u00a0 Specific details and timelines will be made available soon by the contractor and will be provided to all homeowners.\u00a0 All communications will also be available on the Association website.<\/span><\/p>\n
